For 2007 we have the
following new engines:
- 2 new On-road engines;
- 1 new Off road engine;
The new On-road engines are:
- 353
Race .12 PLUS 2 and is developed for 1:10 200mm On-road
class.
- 359
Race .21 PLUS 2 and is specially made for the 1:8 On-road
class.
For the Off-road we have the following new
engine:
- 367
Buggy .21 PLUS 2 engine is created from a completly different
project than the other two engines, it features a new carburettor
and new patented front bearing.
Made for buggy drivers who demands an engine with a lot of low
RPM power and long runtime.
Typical 'PLUS 2' differences are:
- Lightweight cooling head;
- New carter backplate with a steel insert;
- O-Ring supported combustion chamber.
The name is actually a code: the first number
is for the amount of crankcase ports, the second number for
the thicknes of the front bearing and the last number stands
for the amount of transfer ports in the sleeve.
Available from March, and only be sold in
the 'special PLUS 2 edition' package.
