PLUS 2 "Version 2008" engines.
   

Almost 1 year ago we launched the PLUS 2 engine line, the 353 RACE .12, 359 RACE .21 and the 367 BUGGY .21.
Now with one year development and championship winnings behind us we present the 2008 version of the very well proven engines, and that's not all, as we also made an PLUS 2 rally engine.
The 359 RALLY .21 is specially developed for use in 1:8 scale R/C rally cars.

The main improvement came in the drive ablity of the engines by increasing the low-end and mid range torque.
This improvement is obtained by creating a close to optimum shape of the combustionchamber.

The 353 RACE .12 features:
- Lightweight coolinghead to reduce overall mass and lowers CG of the car;
- Steel reinforced backplate to reduce friction when in contact with the conrod;
- Optimum shaped combustionchamber supported by an rubber O-Ring;
- New stiffer and lighter conrod;
- Turbo SG type crankshaft which is made from high quality steel and balanced with tungsten inserts;
- Smaller crankcase for easy placement in today's touring cars;
- Hard chromed sleeve made from brass with 3 transfer ports;
- Bearings with High grade ceramic precision balls to improve acceleration and durabilty.

The 359 RACE .21 features:
- Lightweight coolinghead to reduce overall mass and lowers CG of the car;
- Steel reinforced backplate to reduce friction when in contact with the conrod;
- Optimum shaped combustionchamber supported by an rubber O-Ring;
- New carburetor with coolingfins for a fuelflow with a lower temprature;
- 9mm oval shaped venturies (interchangeable) for improved fuel consumption;
- Hard chromed brass sleeve with 9 transferports and 3 exhaust ports;
- Lightweight & ultra stiff conrod:
- Turbo SG type crankshaft from high quality steel and balanced with tungsten inserts;
- Bearings with High grade ceramic precision balls to improve acceleration and durabilty.

The 367 BUGGY .21 features:
- Oversized but yet ultralight coolinghead;
- Plastic carburetor to improve dust resistance;
- Optimum shaped combustionchamber supported by an rubber O-Ring;
- Hard chromed brass sleeve with 7 transferports and 3 exhaust ports;
- Turbo SG type crankshaft from high quality steel and balanced with tungsten inserts;
- Steel reinforced backplate to reduce friction when in contact with the conrod;

The 359 RALLY .21 features:
- Hard chromed brass sleeve with 9 transferports and 3 exhaust ports;
- Turbo SG type crankshaft from high quality steel and balanced with tungsten inserts;
- Lightweight coolinghead to reduce overall mass and lowers CG of the car;
- Steel reinforced backplate to reduce friction when in contact with the conrod;
- Bearings with High grade ceramic precision balls to improve acceleration and durabilty.
