After the introduction (17-03-2007) of our basic engine line we have now made some changes to the 2,1cc engines.
All the first generation 2,1cc engines are now Out of Assembling and replaced by the second generation version with a different coolinghead, crankcase and piston/sleeve set.

To get a long and healty life of your favorite NOVAROSSI engine you might get to the point that you need to change the High Quality ball bearings.
Because of used tolerances inside the NOVAROSSI engines it can be difficult to remove the High Quality ball bearings from the engine.

During the EC-A 2008 which was held in a very hot Valencia many drivers had problems to make the five minutes on 1 fuel tank.
After our team manager handed out some prototype parts of our new 'Exhaust Gas Cooler' to our team drivers (Vuga, Collari, Balestri, Pietsch, Pirani, Lackner to name a few) they where able to use the full potential of their 359 Race . 21 engines again because they did not have to worry about five minutes anymore.

Most racers have multiple engines but most cars and boats have only room for 1 engine.
That means that 1 or more engines are stored somewhere in the racing gear.
The plastic bag where the engine comes in when brought new gives some good protection but it is not dust & oil proof.

For the TOP line have 8 new engines, all engines are developed from a long line of experience and expertise in making the best possible engines that are available today.
2 of the 8 new TOP engines are made in the 2,1cc size.
They are both very similar to each other but one has a sleeve with 3 transfer ports while the second has a sleeve with 5 transfer ports.
