Fuel
recommendation: This engine has been developed
to be used with a fuel with a maximum of 16% nitro
content and with an oil percentage not lower than
7%. We therefore suggest not to use it with different
percentages compared to the ones specified here above.

Glowplug: The glowplug of engine is a Turbo type glowplug.
Turb glowplugs have a different shape than Standard glowplugs and therefor are not interchange able with engines that are using Standard glowplugs! |

Crankshaft:
The crankshaft is made from high quality steel and
is available in "TURBO SG" version. It has
a diameter of 11.90mm. The increased diameter provides
more torsional stiffness. While the silicon filling improves the mixture flow. |

|
|
Sleeve: The optimized sleeve of the 353 RACE 12 engine is made from hard chromed brass and is complying with EFRA regulations, having the maximum allowable transfer ports. |
 |
|
|
|
|
Conrod: The new conrod of the 353 RACE 12 engine is futher improved by increasing the brass bushing and removing unneccesary body mass. |
 |
|
|
|
|
Ceramic ball bearings: From the factory out the 353 RACE 12 engine comes with high grade ceramic precision ball inside the ball bearings. These ceramic precision balls are lighter and stronger which improves performance and reliability over steel balls. |
 |
|
|
|
|
Backplate: The 353 RACE 12 engine has a backplate with a steel inlay, this reduces friction and wear when the conrod touches it. The round shape reduces the dead space inside the engine. |
 |
|
|
|
|
Cooling head: The PLUS 2 engine line features leightweigth cooling head, the weight reduction comes from drilling holes in the cooling fins. |
 |
|
|
|
|
Combustion chamber: The combustion chamber is supported by an O-Ring which is placed between the combustion chamber and the crankcase to reduce the vibrations of the combustion chamber. |
