The Capital Classic at 301 raceway has become one of the premier Fuel On-Road races in America. This year's race did not disappoint in any way. There was a record turnout of 232 entries, and all of the top drivers in the country were on hand to tune up for the ROAR Nationals which will be at 301 raceway later this year.

The weather was very hot and humid, and the track was very hard on fuel mileage. Many drivers either had to pit, or ran out of fuel trying to make it. My NOVAROSSI 359plus2 ran perfect, and made mileage in every qualifier. This put me 2nd on the starting grid for the final, just behind Chris Tosolini and just in front of Mike Swauger.

The Final turned out to be a great race and my NOVAROSSI powered car stayed at or near the front for the entire race, eventually taking the first position at about the 30 minute mark and leading the way to the checkered flag and another victory for NOVAROSSI!
