This weekend we had the first round of the Swiss Expert Championship.

On Saturday by fine sunny and dry weather with a temperature of about 20 deg. the 4 qualification heats were run.Shasa Lackner was the fastest after 2 heats with 22 laps in in 5.05.876. in the 3rd heat he dropped a plug.In the 4th heat he topped his time again ,endin up TQ with a time of 22 laps in in 5.05.478.This is 2 seconds quicker than the pole record of Markus Geissendorfer form 2007

On Sunday the weather ws again fantastic with about 22 deg.

At the start of the final Shasa Lackner took over the lead and continued to pull away from the rest of the field.His engine performed abolutely perfectly throughout the whole 45 minutes.He continued to hold his lead until 5 minutes from the end when his gearbox jammed in 2nd gear allowing Martinelli Luca to full past an win by 7 seconds.Shasa finished in a fantastic 2nd place overall.This is the best place ever achieved in Switzerland by a drive of his age(15 yeras)He also won the prize for the best Junior.
